Quality Assurance Manager
Job Description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage, Lead, and Support a team of Quality Assurance and Testing Staff.Oversee the department hiring process.Collaborate with departmental transitions and onboarding initiatives as needed.Supervise staff in accordance with company quality policies and quality procedures.Assist with work assignments, rotations, employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignment, back-up for absent employees, and shift rotations.Coordinate, lead, and monitor company Management Review meetings and action items.Read and interpret drawings ranging in complexity and styles.Establish employee goals and conduct employee performance reviews.Support Operational planning and monitoring efforts.Assure quality products and processes by establishing and enforcing quality standards and testing materials and products.Implement in-process product inspection standards by studying manufacturing methods.Assist with rework standards supporting inspection and physical testing methods and procedures.Manage, perform, and monitor Internal Audit procedures.Manage, perform, and monitor Regulatory Agency or Customer audits.Manage, monitor. and verify company compliance to EDS procedures.Collect, analyze, and summarize information and trends including failed processes and products.Manage Customer Complaints and ensure that issues are addressed and resolved.Assist with Nonconforming products, Corrective Actions and Continual Improvements.Assist with 5S Walks.Assist with maintenance, service, and calibration of all production equipment and tooling to manufactures specifications.Works closely with all departments.Other duties as assigned.


Work Experience

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Experience with overseeing Quality Assurance processes.Experience with analysis and process improvementMust have good communication skills.Must be a great Leader and Coach.Must be familiar with the conception of ISO 9001 Quality Management System.Must be familiar with the conception of IPC 620 Manufacturing StandardsMust be familiar with the conception of IPC 620 Manufacturing Standards.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in program management, business or public administration, technical management, information systems, engineering, finance/accounting, or related fields.Minimum of two (2) years of recent Quality and/or Operations experience.Experience may be considered equivalent if experience demonstrated increased depth and breadth of responsibility.
