Position Summary
Thales is looking for a Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for ensuring that all products, services and projects meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. This role involves developing and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures, leading quality assurance teams, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to integrate quality objectives throughout the product development and project execution processes. The QAM will monitor quality metrics and address any quality related issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
In this position, it requires a strong knowledge of quality assurance principles and practices, excellent leadership and communication skills and a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing quality-related issues and implementing effective solutions.Monitor and analyse quality metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.Lead and manage quality assurance teams, providing guidance and support to ensure the highest standards of quality are maintained.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality objectives are integrated into all stages of product development and project execution. Implement continuous improvement initiatives.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in quality assurance and incorporate them into our processes.Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance or a related field with a minimum of 9+ years of relevant experience.3+ years in a quality management / quality engineering position.Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles and practices. Ability to analyse data and identify trends and areas for improvement.Proven track record of improving quality and customer satisfaction.Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
