What You'll Do as a QA Specialist:

Conduct routine inspections of production processes, raw materials, and finished products.Perform product testing (e.g., temperature, moisture, pH).Collect, analyze, and report on quality data.Investigate and implement corrective actions for quality issues.Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and food safety standards (HACCP).Train production personnel on food safety and quality procedures.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Work Experience

The Preferred Candidate Might:

Have a High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field preferred.Possess 2+ years of experience in a quality assurance role, preferredHave a strong knowledge of food safety regulations (FDA, USDA, HACCP)Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsHave strong attention to detail and accuracyPossess excellent communication and interpersonal skillsBe proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
