ABOUT THE ROLE: Are you a detail-oriented Registered Nurse passionate about quality care? Join our team to ensure top-tier health services for individuals with developmental disabilities! Reporting to the VP of Compliance & Quality Assurance, you'll play a key role in monitoring nursing practices, ensuring compliance with OPWDD regulations, and improving healthcare standards across our organization. Essential Job Functions: + Collaborate with nursing staff to implement recommendations from audits, investigations, and state reviews. + Conduct audits of health records and Medication Administration Records (MARs), ensuring corrective actions are completed. + Develop and refine tools, checklists, and corrective action plans to enhance healthcare processes. + Observe care practices, including medication administration and treatment implementation. + Monitor and support the execution of corrective action plans for internal and external audits. + Work closely with leadership and committees to ensure high-quality services. + Maintain compliance with policies, ensure confidentiality, and uphold our agency's mission. Schedule/Hours + Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM No on call, no evenings, weekends, or holidays!! EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE : Any combination equivalent to education and experience that provides the required knowledge and skills. Qualifications would be equivalent to: + New York State Licensure as a registered professional nurse. + Specialized training or one year experience in working with persons with developmental disabilities preferred. + Must be able to transfer and position people we support and manipulate equipment such as wheelchairs PAY & PERKS: The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $44.00/hr. Plus, a $4000.00 sign-on bonus within your first year!
