In this role, you will:
Manage a Quality Assurance group or diverse and complex department focused on designing and defining quality programs and requirements for the businessEnsure redesign and change management to resolve longer term concernsDevelop and administer budgets, schedules, and performance standardsEnsure effective communication strategy and adherence to company and unit policies, procedures and practicesAssist with development of service level agreements and other departmental initiativesAchieve results through managers and more experienced Quality Assurance AnalystsCollaborate with business partners to influence and enact updates as neededProvide direction through managers, ensuring quality standards are maintained and ensuring enactment of approaches to correct problemsPartner with more experienced managers to allocate and coordinate resources and determine appropriate staff levels in alignment with quality program design, complexity, and work requirementsEngage frequently with peers or more experienced level managers to advise and consult on matters regarding program effectiveness, change preparedness, technology matters, or service levelsConduct briefings and technical meetings for internal and external representatives as requiredManage allocation of people and financial resources for Quality AssuranceDevelop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategyRequired Qualifications:
6+ years of Quality Assurance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education3+ years of Management experienceDesired Qualifications:
Knowledge and understanding of Quality Assurance methodology and workflow applications used to support the execution of post close quality reviewsAbility to understand quality assurance workflow logic, and partner with technology and business partners to test and implement system and program changesAbility to work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, exercise independent judgement, and use critical thinking skillsExperience in building and managing teams, developing talent, and providing strong, proactive leadershipProficient at effectively working and collaborating with teams within a matrixed organizationExperienced in building constructive and effective relationships. Delivers on commitments and renegotiates when needed.
