Quality Assurance Specialist
Description We are assisting our client, a leading manufacturer specializing in GMP-regulated industries, in their search for a Quality Assurance Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to join a growing company committed to delivering high-performance systems and services while ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance within a high-volume manufacturing setting and will be responsible for promoting a quality-driven culture across the organization. They will manage compliance, conduct audits, and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality of products and processes. Key Responsibilities: + Quality Management: Maintain and administer the electronic Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure smooth operations and compliance. + Training & Development: Work with the Learning Management System (LMS) to initiate training programs, develop training modules, and ensure training is completed and documented. + Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize statistical methods such as trend analysis to identify recurring problems, track metrics, and report on quality issues or non-compliance. + Process Improvement: Collaborate with internal teams to improve quality standards, assist with CAPA, and resolve customer complaints or deviations. + Auditing & Compliance: Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and company standards. + Documentation: Review quality documentation for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Salary Range: $62,000 - $75,000 Benefits Offered: - Healthcare Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision insurance. - Other Insurance: Life, AD& D, and Disability - Retirement Plan with 3% match after 90 days. - PTO: minimum 2 weeks. Requirements Qualifications: + Education: Associate’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field. Lead Auditor certification preferred. + Experience: 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance within a high-volume manufacturing environment. Experience in regulated industries such as FDA or ISO is a plus. Skills: + Proficiency in electronic document management systems. + Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools. + Strong understanding of auditing/inspection techniques and quality metrics (CAPA, deviations, complaints, audits). + Excellent communication, collaboration, and technical writing skills. + Previous people leadership experience preferred.
