Oldsmar, FL (Calgaz) - Industrial spec gasHow will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?The Quality Technician will ensure that quality is the highest priority and methods used assure that customer satisfaction is met to the highest extent possible. The Technician will understand the relevance and importance of activities and how they contribute to the achievement of the quality objectives as well as follows all company, ISO, quality and safety policies and proceduresRead and understand procedures and instructions associated with the quality department
Pick up stock orders and filled orders from production
Pull stock accordingly and update the stock inventory spreadsheet
Coordinate orders to meet shipping date deadlines
Verify the customer PO matches the invoice
Verify lot codes on the invoice match the cylinders
Enter lot codes correctly on the invoice for stock items
Calibrate H2S sensors and document calibration
Test H2S and document the results on the invoice
Pull regulators from stock, set lpm (if required)
Accurately enter the appropriate information on the certificate of analysis for each lot code and attach in QuickBooks
Clean and organize work area
Notify supervisor when supplies are needed
Label and/or tag products and packages appropriately
Willing to be cross-trained and move to other areas as needed as well as all areas of shipping
Assure daily work schedule is completed
Work as a team and maximize productivity and efficiency

Familiarity with manufacturing and quality control
Strong attention to detail
Familiar with industry testing tools and equipment
Basic math skills
Proficiency in using personal computer, data entry terminal and other common office equipment and software
Certification: Required: ISO Awareness Course
Using analytical and observation skills demonstrate the ability to set a course or direction, which fulfills the vision and expectations in maintaining the highest level of Quality in the industry.
