ABOUT THE JOB:In an ever-changing and evolving Salesorce.com (SFDC) landscape, WS is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to help meet company standards and user expectations. The QA Specialist(s) are responsible for the IT testing phase of the Salesforce system production development lifecycle. Responsibilities span defect, enhancement, and project development and are concentrated within Salesforce.com but extend to adjacent systems per specific development initiatives. This team will be gatekeepers to overall system efficiency. This role will be responsible for the execution of test plans and will write test script related to both function and process for projects. The QA Specialist will work with the business to inform and support the UAT phase of the release cycle.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: Work with BA team to understand SFDC enhancement goals and with the development team to understand designed solution to inform test script writing and impact analysis; ensure solution covers all possible core scenarios. Write and execute QA test scripts for thorough testing of enhancement or defect in question. Include both positive and negative testing along with appropriate regression testing within SFDC and all adjacent, impacted systems. Interface with the technical and BSA team to communicate defects and errors as needed Manage time and expectations regarding development completion, testing, and business review for release management deadlines. Maintain detailed documentation of testing process, results, and feedback. Utilize this knowledge to foster a smooth rollout process through special attention to user experience and collaboration with training team (as needed).
