Quality Assurance Specialist
We are hiring in NYC! Join us at Fedcap Inc. for an exciting career as a Quality Assurance Specialist. Wage/Salary: $62,400-$75,000. Position Summary As Quality Assurance Specialist with Fedcap, you’ll be part of a small team reporting to the Director of Quality Assurance and play a key role in ensuring that our approximately 30 programs/program locations provide outstanding services to participants and meet the goals of our funders. You will create standards for new programs and monitor performance of existing programs to ensure compliance with the requirements of our funders, mitigate risk, and maintain a culture of continuous improvement. Your responsibilities will include: + Creating SOPs and Desk Guides for new and existing programs, reviewing and updating materials for programs and conducting training with staff to ensure understanding and compliance with both funder and Fedcap requirements. + Developing and implementing quality assurance tools to measure and assess the impact of systems, policies and protocols on operational efficiencies and program effectiveness. + Conducting site visits to observe staff interaction with participants including intakes, service plan creation, and workshops. + Reviewing case management files for completeness, accuracy, and compliance. + Monitoring Customer Service standards including conducting participant focus groups and analyzing surveys to gather feedback and increase awareness of participants’ perspective of program services. + Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for Senior Leadership and regulatory bodies. + Identifying gaps in program and staff performance and designing and conducting staff training to cure deficiencies and reiterate company standards. + Assisting with external audits conducted by funders and third-party auditors. + Conducting safety and risk assessment to ensure compliance with ADA and regulatory standards at service locations. + Working collaboratively with program departments, external agencies and stakeholders to support compliance efforts and monitor remediation (Corrective Action) activities. + Perform other related duties as assigned by Director of Quality Assurance and/or Fedcap Inc. Senior Leadership. You’re a great fit for this role if you have: + Bachelor’s degree in public health, public administration, human services, or a related field, with Master’s degree preferred. + Experience in quality assurance (at least 2+ years), preferably in social services, public health, or workforce development. + Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. + Strong customer service orientation, with an inviting demeanor and ability to build positive relationships with program staff as well as program participants. + Strong analytical and decision-making skills with high attention to detail. + Impeccable integrity Who We Are Fedcap, Inc. makes high outcome, life-changing, sustainable differences for individuals and families to improve their economic well-being through work.
