About the Position: This is a Developmental GS-07/09/11 Position with Full-Performance at GS-11. Responsibilities Serves as the Quality Assurance Specialist for the Installation Contracting Office’s Quality Surveillance Program on a variety of contracts. Monitors, reviews, and conducts inspections of services provided by contractors and ensures goods and services are in compliance with the terms and conditions of the contracts. Establishes and validates plans for correcting material weaknesses or refers weaknesses to higher level for correction. Implements prescribed internal controls to eliminate or minimize the potential for fraud, waste, abuse, mismanagement and inefficiency. Conducts in-person or virtual training on surveillance methodologies and techniques to Contracting Officer’s Representatives. Conduct system record audits on COR performance and document and report results to management. Participates in the development of complex quality assurance plans and procedures. OR One full year of graduate level education in a field with a major study in quality assurance, statistics, mathematics, production management, industrial management, computer science, engineering, engineering technology, physical sciences, textiles, or other fields related to the position.
