For information about our organization, visit https://www.army.mil/opm-sang Responsibilities Serve as a quality assurance specialist for aviation weapon and support systems assigned to support the Ministry of the National Guard (MNG) aviation operations at Kashm Al An (KAA) and Dirab Airfields. Responsible for the life cycle quality of goods and services through incorporating value-added assurance practices into command technology, acquisition and logistics processes. Manage production, quality and execution aspects of OPM-SANG’s field maintenance and systems modification work order (MWO) programs on all MNG aircraft, related aircraft components, ground support equipment, and aerial delivery equipment. Provide instructions, advice and training to ensure command objectives, programs and projects are understood. Function as liaison between the aviation field maintenance activity, the contractor and all supported units. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). U.S. citizens overseas under ordinarily resident status are not eligible for appointment under the Status of Forces Agreement. Locality pay does not apply in the overseas area.
