Position Summary:
Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist for Online Education - Boca Raton, FL.

Summary of Responsibilities Include:
Support the Manager of Quality Assurance and Associate Executive Director of Online Learning as assigned.
Perform internal course reviews according to the COCE’s standards and processes.
Pre-review and prepare courses for QM Certification.
Assist the QA Manager with documentation for Online Academic Program review and certification.
Prioritizes team success over individual recognition and fosters a collaborative work environment.
Proactively seeks opportunities to expand knowledge, improve processes, and contribute beyond assigned responsibilities.
Other job-related duties as assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager.
Preferred Skills:
QM Higher ED Certifications: APPQMR and Peer Reviewer.
Expert understanding of online learning quality standards.
Knowledge of instructional design theories and frameworks.
High level of proficiency in the use of the Canvas LMS.
Experience teaching at a higher education institution, preferably in online/hybrid/remote modalities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess course design effectively.
Excellent communication and training skills, with experience working with faculty and instructional staff.
Ability to thrive in a fluid work environment where faculty, staff, and university needs may shift along the way.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution with a concentration in Educational Technology, Instructional Technology, Information Technology, Professional Development, or related area and two years in instructional technology, instructional design, quality review or related experience required.Fluent with Microsoft Windows operating system.
