Quality Assurance Sr. Technician

As a Senior Technician in Quality Control at NuSil, you will ensure that products meet high-quality standards by performing routine and advanced testing on materials. You will follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensure compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and promote a safe working environment.

This position will report into the QA Manager and report to our Carpinteria, CA (NuSil) location.

Who you are:

Education: High School DiplomaExperience: 3+ years in a similar quality control role and/or manufacturing, with knowledge of SOPs, GDP, SDS, HMIS, and safety standards preferredProficiency in operating lab equipment and strong attention to detail in following procedures.

How you will thrive and create an impact:

Ensure compliance w/ ISO 9001 & AS9100, adhering to GDP, SOP, EOP, PPE, SDS, HMIS, & ITARPerform Testing: Conduct tests on raw materials and finished products using SOPs to ensure quality standards are met.Prioritization: multi-tasking between various TMs and tasks to achieve OTDDocumentation: Accurately record test results and maintain records in line with GDP to ensure traceability and compliance.Equipment Management: Operate and maintain lab equipment according to SOPs and ensuring proper calibration and functionality.Safety: Follow all safety protocols, including the Hazardous Materials Identification System (HMIS), and participate in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs.Support and Mentor: Help train junior technicians and provide guidance on quality testing and compliance with safety and quality protocols.Continuous Improvement: Participate in initiatives aimed at improving testing procedures and overall product quality (KAIZEN, 5S, Six Sigma etc)

Pay Transparency:

The expected pre-tax pay for this position is

$47,000.00 - $77,000.00

Actual pay may differ depending on relevant factors such as prior experience and geographic location.
