Manage team of 4 Quality Assurance team members - lead trainings and responsible for performance management for QA staffUpdate HACCP, SOP, and QA programs and procedures Assist in preparation and execution BRC, customer and internal audits Analyze data to prepare quality reports on products and processesMaintain food safety and quality standards for processing raw materials into finished goods Communicate issues with on-hold and non-conforming products to the QA Manager.Ensure team follows GMP guidelines Maintain quality management systemsPrepare samples for shipment and maintain sample storage.Responsible for tasting flavors to ensure within spec

High school diploma with 5+ years of QA experience and at least 1 year of QA Supervisor experience Associates degree or BS degree with at least 3+ years of QA experience and at least 1 year of QA Supervisor experience Strong communication skills with colleagues, management, vendors, and customersMust haves: Strong leadership skills - need to be able to delegate work, be the voice of the team and be responsible for performance management Bring more than what they know to the table - want someone to bring in new ideas and help to improve the team Nice to have: Need to be able to distinguish the difference in flavors and be able to taste all products Experience directly from flavor manufacturing companies
