The role ensures high quality lenses and eyewear are consistently produced in the lab through inspection, collection, and reporting of statistical data. What Would You Do? The Specifics. + Oversees and manages the inspection, data collection, and sampling of completed product. Ensures that completed manufactured products are inspected to meet or exceed ANSI standards. + Analyzes a pre-determined percentage of products produced within the lab to ensure levels of quality are met. + Investigates items returned from the stores for quality issues, shares findings, partners with the lab team on corrections and store communications. + Maintains testing equipment and Quality Control data collection. + Recommends solutions for quality problems to lab management as they arise. + Assist in training new and existing lab final inspectors. + Assists with maintaining the Quality Assurance Standard Operating Procedures manual. + Partners with Lab management team on EPA, Recycling, Safety opportunity and meetings. + Answers optical and RX questions from Lab Inspectors, Lab Support and stores. + Collects quality assurance reports for all 5 labs, consolidates the data and produces daily, weekly and monthly reports and then redistributes reports to various lab managers and senior management team.   Work Experience + 2-4 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience ((Required)) Education + High school, plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area; E.G. data processing, clerical/administrative, equipment operation, etc. Licenses, Certifications, Professional Affiliations + ABO Certification or Optical/Lab ((Required)) Taking Care of our People!
