About the Role:

Responsible for directing and supervising a group of employees involved in inspection and quality control procedures with regard to purchased material, in-process material, and finished products to assure that quality control standards are achieved.Plan and assign work of subordinates. Schedule employees as needed for work load. Handle attendance records through Kronos.Make recommendations with regard to procedures, standards, and equipment to facilitate work and maintain product quality.Work effectively with Production personnel to ensure quality parameters are met and food safety is not compromised. Analyze facts or circumstances surrounding individual problems to determine what action should be taken within the limits of standard practices.

Important Details: This is a full-time permanent role with primary responsibilities on 1st shift.  At times, your role may shift based on business need.

About You:

You’ll fit right in if you have:

2 years of Supervisor or Leadership role experience (preferably in food manufacturing or consumer manufacturing environment)Minimum of a related associate degree - Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Business or at least 3 years of related experience in food manufacturingKnowledge of Inspection and Quality Control methods, techniques and equipment, and knowledge of typical measuring instruments (pH meter for example) and testing procedures.Knowledge of computer systems (i.e., MS Office, SAP) and ability to learn new systems.Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
