The QA Supervisor will oversee the QC lab operations, ensuring compliance with FDA, HACCP, and cGMP standards. This role includes maintaining equipment, verifying results, and managing audits, evaluating customer specifications, driving continuous improvement, and collaborating with production on testing requirements. Additionally, The QA Supervisor will supervise and train QA employees, managing their daily duties and performance.

Responsibilities Coordinate daily with Production, Sales, and Logistics to address loading needs and concerns for finished products.Ensure personnel adhere to policies and procedures during testing, loading, and sampling.Manage resources to maintain a functional laboratory.Train lab technicians to operate, calibrate, and maintain instruments.Ensure facility compliance with FDA, cGMP, GFSI, and HACCP requirements through managed and documented food/feed safety programs.Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulations.Identify and communicate workplace hazards; correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.Provide backup for QA technicians during training and PTO.Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications (required) High School diploma or GED4+ years of experience in production, processing, quality assurance or related fieldAdditional Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred in Biology, Chemistry, Food Science, or related field.Proficiency in laboratory techniques.Experience working in cross-functional teams.Strong team-building skills.Excellent cross-functional communication abilities, including with the QA team.Prior supervisory experience preferred. Certification in Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) or Safe Quality Food (SQF) preferredSQF Practitioner preferred.Experience in developing, training, and auditing HACCP or SQF systems.Working knowledge of federal, state, and local food safety standards.Pre-employment screening is based on the job requirements and industry guidelines and may or may not be required for the position.
