/*generated inline style */ Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detailed-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Supervisor to lead our QA team in maintaining high-quality standards. The QA Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Quality Inspection Department. They will oversee First Article Inspections (FAI) and calibration processes and coordinate direct quality programs designed to ensure that the processing of all products is consistent with customer purchase orders, in-process material, and finished products follow industry regulations and company policies.
Duties & Responsibilities
Oversee the daily task assignments of direct reports by supervising and prioritizing tasks as necessary to assure schedule compliance.Manages and oversees all inspections of parts, investigates non-conformances, initiates, implements, and coordinates corrective and preventative actions as appropriate.Performs Interface with inspection and manufacturing personnel on technical issues, specification requirements, inspection methods, and scheduling.Oversee and ensure accurate completion of FAI’s per AS9102 and other customer requirements.Reviews and approves all revisions to internal process and quality system procedures to ensure that documentation meets current regulatory and customer requirements. (i.e. NADCAP and AS9100).Reviews all data obtained during quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure consistency with company goals, policies and procedures.Keeps management team abreast of significant issues or developments identified during quality activities and issues corrective/preventative actions being taken to assure continuous process improvement.Maintains a working knowledge of government and industry quality codes and standards.Investigate customer complaints regarding quality.Takes ownership of Calibration Management.Conduct internal audits and supports external audits as required.Maintain discipline, morale and harmonious relations by investigating and adjusting personnel problems within the area of responsibility and effectively recommend hiring, promotions, wage adjustments and terminations among subordinates.Education & Experience
Minimum of 1-year supervisory experience.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Quality Control in a manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of FAI (AS9102) calibration programs, ISO/AS99100 Quality Systems standards. Experience with ERP systems preferred.Experience with measurement tools, GD&T, and statistical process control.Quality orientation and high attention to detail.Desired Skills
