We are looking for a Quality Assurance Team Lead with strong SQL, business intelligence testing, and leadership skills to lead a neurodivergent team of Quality Assurance Analysts. **Job Description** We are looking for a Quality Assurance Team Lead to join our business intelligence and predictive analytics team. You will work closely with our Business Analyst/Project Manager and oversee an agile team of Quality Assurance Testers within CAI’s Neurodiverse Solutions. The QA Team Lead will play a critical role in leading manual testing efforts while driving strategic initiatives to improve the overall QA processes by identifying inefficiencies, implementing new methodologies, and optimizing workflows to ensure the delivery of highest quality products. The QA Team Lead will also provide training, guidance, mentoring, support and supervision to the team, fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader and team motivator who is compassionate, approachable, and flexible, with a proven track record of mentoring and people development. Due to our end client and project work, this role does not offer visa sponsorship. **What You’ll Do** + Facilitate the development and maintenance of operational process documentation + Analyze current testing processes to identify areas of inefficiency and recommend improvements + Implement new testing methodologies to enhance the effectiveness of the QA team + Drive strategic initiatives aimed at improving QA processes, including the adoption of new testing methodologies and tools + Continuously optimize workflows within the testing team to improve efficiency and effectiveness + Work with the functional, technical and architecture teams to plan all in-scope phases of testing + Mentor, coach, and support neurodivergent associates working as Quality Assurance Analysts + Maintain an associate skill assessment and talent development program for each team member + Establish and maintain a regular cadence with client leadership at all levels and associates, obtaining and providing bi-directional feedback + Act as initial escalation point of contact on associate issues, and advocate for team members with client + Analyze existing data and perform data gap analysis with the goal of improving metrics + Ensure that work tasks are delivered on time, within SLA and to the expectations of IT sponsors and business stakeholders + Ensure that the team manages the client’s data in accordance with security, confidentiality, and integrity requirements. + Answers team member questions, helps with team member problems, and oversees team member work for quality and guideline compliance + Provide encouragement to team members, including communicating team goals and identifying areas for new training or skill checks + Generate and present executive summary reporting including key metrics to measure and manage performance **What You'll Need** Required: + Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or a related field; or commiserate work experience + 6+ years leading testing efforts, with experiences in all phases of testing: System, Integration, User Acceptance and Performance testing + 3+ years managing direct reports, including interviewing candidates, delegation of tasks, performance appraisal/yearly reviews, and corrective action + Experience developing and troubleshooting complex SQL queries, and using Relational databases at the Enterprise level (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, etc.) + Experience designing, configuring, and implementing manual and automated test frameworks + Experience organizing and executing training and development plans, leading training, guidance, and performance management of new and existing team members + Experience with tracking and reporting SLAs and KPIs in a managed services testing engagement, communicating updates to and managing expectations across all levels of leadership + Experience managing multiple priorities, analyze technical problems and synthesize thoughtful solutions + Ability to navigate complex and difficult situations with tact + Relationship building skills to solidify and retain current business and identify/communicate opportunities for business development Preferred: + Experience with ETL workflows + Experience in AGILE Methodology + Familiarity with the concept of Neurodiversity, and best practices for supporting the success of neurodivergent employees **Physical Demands** + Ability to perform the essential job functions consistent safely and successfully with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards + Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc. + Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor + Must be able to communicate with customers/team members over the phone and in person \#LI-NA1 **Reasonable Accommodation Statement** If you require a reasonable accommodation in completing this application, interviewing, completing any pre-employment testing, or otherwise participating in the employment selection process, please direct your inquiries to application.accommodations@cai.io or (888) 824 – 8111. **Equal Employment Opportunity Policy Statement** It is the policy of CAI not to discriminate against any employee or applicant due to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, marital status, genetic information, disability or being a protected veteran.
