Key Responsibilities

Provides quality support for assembly, shipping and machining. Primary objectives are to reduced external and internal PPM.  The quality technician is the Subject Metter Expert on a wide-variety of plant operations.  Requires on the spot problem-solving and root cause analysis. The Quality Technician III reports directly to the Quality Manager and role is based on site at our Union Grove facility.  Travel is typically not required.

Performs a variety of duties to determine that materials, products and /or processes are in accordance with specifications and requirementsPerforms process auditsMakes visual, dimensional or mechanical tests of materials, processes, assemblies or sub‑assemblies. Uses a variety of precision measuring instruments and test equipment. Maintains graphs and records pertinent to the function.Refer deviations from standards to appropriate personnel.Other duties as assigned by management

Minimum Requirements

High School Diploma/GEDAssociates degree in applicable field preferred3-5 years of quality experience3-5 years of experience in similar role2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environmentAbility to adapt to a fast paced work environmentStrong technical and mechanical aptitudeAbility to develop good rapport with various teams.Ability to work individuallyBasic math skillsKnowledge of materials, tools, and gauges.
