Full Time, Non-Exempt
6:30am - 3:00pm (times may vary based on plant's needs)
The Quality Assurance Technician will work safely to ensure the quality of our product meets the standards set by White Castle and the requirements set by
USDA.
Physical RequirementsMust be able to physically lift 25 pounds; bending, turning, twisting, and climbing will be required;Must be able to work well with co-workers in a physically close environment;Must wear all other safety gear, i.e., eye & ear protection, as deemed necessary.

Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years of college chemistry and/or biology is required or three years of previous quality assurance experience in the food industry or one year in the Quality Assurance Technician II position in a White Castle Meat Processing PlantHave knowledge of proper procedures for handling chemicals and laboratory safety proceduresHave adequate knowledge of safe lifting procedures, “lockout/tagout” procedures, and proper safety procedures;Communication skills and the ability to work well with others and the U.S.D.A. InspectorsFamiliar with USDA regulations and directives and the HACCP, SSOP, GMP and SOP programs
