**Quality Assurance Technician** **Location:** Elk Grove, CA **Shift:** 1st, 2nd ,3rd available **Pay:** $25 / hour **Experience** : 2-3 years QC experience **Job Description** The Quality Assurance Technician will monitor operations to ensure compliance and production standards are met. This includes inspection and verification activities in the manufacturing process, all while ensuring the highest quality and food safety guidelines. They will identify any issues and report inspections, auditing reports, and records to management. QA start times vary and can change (they also rotate among their shift weekly). For the most part, 1st shift starts between 4 am-8 am, 2nd shift starts between 2 pm-5 pm, and 3rd shift starts between 11 pm-1 am. Schedule can change week to week by an hour or so, and shifts are posted on Thursdays the week before. Saturdays are potential workdays. **Hard Skills** + Knowledge of Safety and Food Safety Standards + Experience with Metal Detection Programs + Familiarity with Weight Control Programs + Understanding of GMPs + Inspection of raw materials + Experience with Preoperational Inspections + Understanding of Hold and Release Programs + Familiarity with Pest Control Programs + Experience with Recall Programs + Knowledge of Quality Control/Assurance Processes + Experience with waste reduction programs + Ability to recognize product specifications + Training employees in Quality and Food Safety Procedures + Experience with product-handling requirements + Enforcing production floor policies and procedures + Maintaining chemical and container labels + Maintaining safety discipline and reporting unsafe acts + Proper use of materials to avoid waste + Maintaining reports and documentation **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
