Quality Assurance Technician
Job Description: Quality Assurance Technician

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. This role involves developing, implementing, and overseeing quality audit processes and testing parameters to ensure the high standards of our products. The Quality Assurance Technician will be responsible for tracking internal defects, conducting random audits, and performing root cause analysis on non-conforming products.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and oversee quality audit frequency to ensure proper appearance and functionality of our product.Develop, implement, and oversee quality testing parameters for our product.Develop, implement, and oversee a system of tracking internal defects to report to supervision and management.Conduct random audits on all manufacturing processes throughout the shift.Conduct audits of all products staged for packaging operations.Perform root cause analysis and reporting on non-conforming products.Segregate nonconforming material utilizing hold tags and notify supervision.Stop any process where nonconforming material is being produced and notify supervision.Work with the operations team to develop and implement changes that will have a positive impact on product quality.Maintain records related to all aspects of quality operations.Comply with all applicable OSHA, EPA, local regulatory laws, and company safety policies.Management retains the discretion to add or change the duties of this position at any time.Essential SkillsExperience in quality assurance, quality audits, and quality inspections.Expertise in inspection methodology and techniques.Experience with root cause analysis and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).Experience working with industrial equipment in a manufacturing environment.Bachelor’s degree in a related field and two years of experience, or five years of experience in a related quality position.Highly organized and self-motivated individual capable of working independently.Ability to work assigned hours plus overtime as needed.Additional Skills & QualificationsCollaborative leadership skills.Hands-on experience on the plant floor.Bilingual capabilities are a plus.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00
