We are seeking a diligent Quality Assurance Technician responsible for conducting pre-operational inspections, ATP swabbing of machines and instruments, and product testing such as pH, salt titrations, Brix, and viscosity. This role also involves calling for production holds when necessary, upholding GMP standards, and following HACCP guidelines. Additionally, you will create Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and conduct batch record reviews.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct pre-op inspections and ATP swabbing of machines and instruments
+ Perform product testing including pH, salt titrations, Brix, and viscosity
+ Call for production holds when necessary
+ Uphold GMP standards and follow HACCP guidelines
+ Create Certificates of Analysis (COAs)
+ Conduct batch record reviews
Essential Skills
+ Experience in quality assurance and quality control
+ Knowledge of food manufacturing processes
+ Proficiency in ATP testing and overseeing sanitation
+ Understanding of HACCP and CAPA
+ Experience with Brix testing and swabbing
+ High school diploma
+ 2+ years of QA/QC experience in the food or beverage industry
+ Ability to lead and uphold GMP standards with production and sanitation teams

+ Strong attention to detail
+ Excellent communication and teamwork skills
+ Ability to work independently and efficiently
Work Environment
This position is for the 1st shift, with hours from 5am to 1:30pm. The role is based at a smaller facility, where you will gather samples from the floor, ensure production is following GMPs and SOPs, and conduct Brix, pH, and titrations on samples. You will also perform ATP swabbing.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
