We are looking to hire a Quality Assurance Technician for our client in Edgewood, MD. This position supports plant quality initiatives tied to process and product quality. The successful candidate will work with cross-functional teams (including Supplier Quality, Operations, Warranty, and Design Engineering) to reduce quality defects and improve the overall customer experience.

The Day-to-Day:

Liaison between Manufacturing and Technical Support Departments to resolve quality issues.Assist Quality Assurance Engineers with process and product improvement plans.Conduct process and product audits, and assist in the development of gauge, fixture, and tool calibration programSupport Internal CAR process, Quality reporting/escalation, support resolving customer issuesTroubleshoot warranty and customer return items and Document Work Procedures

Qualifications:

High School DiplomaMinimum 0-3 years experience working in a manufacturing environment.Familiarity with GD&T Possess above-average analytical skills must have excellent communication skillsKnowledge of Six Sigma methodologyExperience with the implementation of Document Control systems

Pay Rate/Shifts:

$22.00 to $25.00 /hrMonday to Friday7:30 AM to 3:30 PM
