Quality Assurance Technician
**Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician** **Job Description** A manufacturer of precision machined parts for the Aerospace industry, located in Anaheim, is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician. This role involves verifying and inspecting manufactured parts to ensure they meet quality standards. The company produces close tolerance precision machined parts sold to Aerospace customers. **Responsibilities** + Verify and inspect manufactured parts for quality assurance. + Review new order planning to ensure required quality and documentation conform to drawing and BOM specifications. + Utilize standard mechanical instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and other inspection equipment. + Process associated documentation, including non-conforming material documents. + Create QA reports efficiently and professionally. + Conduct purchase order reviews. + Maintain quality manuals and update AS9100 documentation and procedures as required. + Compute performance metrics under the supervision of the QA Manager. + Complete AS9012 inspection reports. **Essential Skills** + Familiarity with GD&T. + Experience with PC-DMIS software (training available if needed). + Knowledge of CMM operating/inspection (ideal). + Proficiency in using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges. + Ability to read blueprints. + Experience with AS9100, first article, in-process, and final inspection. + Prior experience in Quality, Mechanical inspection, + Excellent communication skills, including speaking, writing, and email. + Attention to detail and self-motivation. + Ability to manage multiple tasks with deadlines. + Knowledge and experience in an AS9100 Quality System environment, including corrective and preventive action processes, internal auditing, and continuous improvement. + Basic internal auditing skills and knowledge or certification. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Machining experience is a plus. + Experience with inspecting parts made to Aerospace specifications. + Preference given to candidates with a machine shop experience. **Why Work Here?** The company offers comprehensive benefits including company-paid medical, dental, holidays, sick days, and vacation.
