Our client in the Philadelphia, PA area is looking to hire a Quality Assurance Technician for their location. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Responsible for daily execution of procedures on line inspections, SOP enforcement and audits, training, continuous improvement, and ensuring quality standards meet or exceed customer expectations.
The Day-to-Day:
Accountable for conducting and enforcing quality processes within the linesAssesses in-line quality, quality assurance, and ensures SOPs are followedIn coordination with the Process Control Supervisor and quality supervision, develops and/or revises SOPs and observes workers to ensure compliance with current Good Manufacturing PracticesAssists in the design and implementation of the quality system to ensure all appropriate checks are adhered, to documented, and reportedPrepares daily quality checklists for each assembly lineConducts daily first-piece inspections from each assembly line with the Process Control Supervisor and Line LeadMonitors and inspects lot codes and expiration dates when applicablePerforms SOP internal auditsConducts training sessions on procedures or policies needing reiterationPrepares reports on defects or errors to document root causes, recommendations, and corrective actionsAssists in preparing and maintaining appropriate production recordsWith Process Control Supervisor and quality supervision, reviews job specifications to ensure production and quality of products meet all specificationsStops production lines if production is incorrectly performedMonitors and ensures implementation of facility safety programs in order to provide a safe and clean workplace for employees within the regulations of all federal, local, and state regulationsQualifications:
High School DiplomaStrong organizational skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyExperience working independently and within a team environmentProven ability to develop relationships with management and peersAbility to collect, organize, and analyze dataUnderstanding of record-keeping proceduresKnowledge and experience using a variety of quality toolsExperience developing procedures, work instructions, and product quality documentationPay Rate:
$15.00 /hrSchedule:
Monday to Friday7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
