Kforce has a client in Woburn, MA seeking a Quality Assurance Technician. Summary: The QAE is responsible for conducting various tests on robotic systems to ensure product quality, performance and reliability. This role is critical to the development of the most advanced robotic fulfillment and sortation systems on earth. Responsibilities: * Testing the functionality and performance of an autonomous fleet of robots * Bots tested as an independent product as well as within it's current use case * The current Outbound Dock use case involves interacting with other robotic work cells or sortation products as part of an overall automated outbound dock solution * Robotic Work cell operation as an independent product being qualified as well as it's interaction with the autonomous fleet * Recovering workcell from mechanical or sw faults * Deploy, configure, and maintain autonomous robot fleets, robotic workcells, and related environments (SW, FW, HW updates) to align with changing test scenarios * Testing involves a combination of physical and virtual test environments, therefore expect physical activity (walking, bending, squatting for low profile bots, lifting, pushing) * Tests may involve prepping test data virtually via SW tooling or physically via package sets, carts, obstacles, etc. * Collect and analyze data and metrics during or after active testing (logs, dashboards, databases, other web tools) and document observations * Clearly communicate regular status to QA Lead and/or Manager * Highlight risks or blockers in a timely fashion
