Pay

Starting at $26.50/hour $3 shift differential for overnight shift Bi-weekly Pay

Orientation Week: Schedule will be provided prior to start date Schedule: 2-2-2 schedule. 12 hour night shift:  5:45PM to 6:00AM

Job Summary

The purpose of the Quality Assurance Technician is to ensure a quality product is being produced at all times. Direct and coordinate quality assurance programs. Execute quality control procedures, policies and control quality of and production efforts.  The Quality Assurance Technician is also responsible to detect any problems that arise before, during, and after production.

 

Responsibilities

Stop production if serious quality or food safety defects are present. Maintain quality assurance standard operating procedures in Safety chain. Monitor performance of quality control systems to ensure effectiveness and efficiency (Safety Chain, HARPC, HACCP, and HACQP plans). Review quality documentation necessary for regulatory submissions and inspections. Analyze quality control test results and data and provide feedback and interpretation to management or staff necessary for operational decisions. Document organizational or operational procedures. Monitor organizational procedures to ensure proper functioning. Confer with organizational team members to accomplish work activities to ensure daily quality is maintained. Conduct routine and non-routine analyses of in-process materials, raw materials, environmental samples, finished goods, or stability samples. Ensure cleanliness and safety standards are maintained in accordance to SQF Train Team members on Quality Assurance best practices

 

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required, Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree a plus HARPC and/or HACCP Training Certificate a plus Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) Ability to work and stand in a warm environment for long periods of time Strong attention to detail and ability to read, understand and follow standard operating procedures and instructions Ability to work with minimal direction and demonstrate problem solving techniques Ability to work independently Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel is required
