Schedule: 12 hour shifts: 5:45pm - 6:15am One is a night shift with those hours, The schedule is 2 days on, 2 days off, every other weekend will work Fri-Sun. Following week is the opposite days.
 
Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for quality and testing? PDS Tech Commercial is looking for a Quality Assurance Tester I to play a key role in ensuring the precision, safety, and quality of our beverages in development. You will directly impact the creation of products that shape the consumer market, working within a dynamic, fast-paced laboratory environment.
 
In this role, you’ll be responsible for supporting beverage preparation, maintaining laboratory equipment, and assisting with various quality assurance tasks to uphold the highest standards. What You’ll Do

Prepare Beverages & Syrups: Follow mixing instructions and guidance from product developers to prepare syrups and beverages to exact specifications, ensuring consistency and quality.

Inventory Management: Process and track incoming inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring that materials are properly logged, stored, and traceable.

Laboratory Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instrumentation, conducting preventative maintenance, cleaning, sanitizing, and calibration.

Carbonation & Tasting Room Maintenance: Manage carbonation tanks and maintain tasting rooms, replacing tanks and water filters as necessary, ensuring proper function.

Support Pilot Plant Productions: Assist with ingredient preparation, bottling, labeling, and conducting analyses to ensure beverage products meet required specifications.

Maintain Cleanliness & Organization: Adhere to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), ensuring the laboratory is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.

Data Recording: Accurately record data from tests, calibrations, and maintenance activities, keeping logs in the required systems, notebooks, or logbooks.

Safety & Compliance: Follow all laboratory safety protocols, including HAZMAT policies, chemical hygiene, and environmental protection regulations. Perform safety audits regularly.

General Maintenance: Perform cleaning, maintenance, and replacements of seals, valves, gaskets, and dispensing equipment to ensure smooth beverage production.

Stability Studies: Assist with product labeling, sample storage, and stability studies, ensuring products meet industry standards for quality.

 
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications:

Laboratory Maintenance Experience: Prior experience or familiarity with laboratory equipment maintenance, including cleaning, calibration, and troubleshooting.

Attention to Detail: Ability to follow precise instructions and document results accurately.

Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle physical tasks related to beverage production and laboratory maintenance.

Safety Awareness: Knowledge of laboratory safety practices, including safe chemical handling, personal protective equipment, and safety protocols.

Communication Skills: Ability to clearly communicate findings, collaborate with team members, and contribute to team goals.

Organizational Skills: Ability to maintain clean, organized workspaces and manage inventory.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in Beverage Production: Prior experience in a laboratory setting or consumer goods industry, especially in food or beverage preparation.

Understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices): Familiarity with GMP and quality assurance protocols in a production or laboratory environment.

Safety Certifications: Any relevant certifications or training in HAZMAT, HAZWOPER, or laboratory safety protocols.

Technical Knowledge: Experience with laboratory data systems and the ability to perform accurate data entry and analysis.

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
