Quality Assurance Testing Analyst

Job Description:

At Regions, the Quality Assurance Testing Analyst supports the application development organization by conducting complex software testing activities with moderate impact aimed to improve the functionality of applications systems across the organization.

Primary Responsibilities

Performs manual testing of applicationsAnalyzes test data to determine pain points and recommend improvements or modifications to better meet customer needsMaintains documentation for testing activities and casesCollaborates with peers to create parameters and comparison data for improved accuracyPerforms post-production validationAssists with coordinating non-functional testing activities, including performance testing, concert testing, and pen testingAssists in the creation of summaries and assessments of the application’s performance, emphasizing trends over time, conducting analysis when necessaryRemains abreast of trends in testing tools and strategiesMay assist management in determining technical knowledge pain points and developing training plansAssists with complex testing projectsMay offer advice and guidance to junior analysts, assisting in developing business/technical knowledge, analytical skills, and case management skillsMay assists with the design, scripting, configuration, and running of performance tests to validate production readiness of software applications and infrastructure for stability and performance against Non-Functional Requirements

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED and eight (8) years of quality or related experienceOr Bachelor’s degree in related field and four (4) years of quality or related experience

Preferences

Familiarity with Regions’ testing standardsStrong knowledge of software implementation methodologiesStrong knowledge of test case design and strategyStrong knowledge of test management tools such as Azure DevOps, qTest, or Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)

his position must be within a reasonable driving distance to a Branch, Consumer Operations, or Professional Office Building with the primary location being for Birmingham, Alabama; Nashville, Tennessee; Atlanta, Georgia; Charlotte, North Carolina.  There may be consideration for Dallas Texas; Denver Colorado; Houston Texas; Orlando Florida; Salt Lake City Utah; Tampa Florida.  Regions will not provide relocation assistance for this position, and relocation would be at your expense. Exceptions to the geographic location requirement may be made for current Regions associates who work remotely.

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

$79,430.00 USD
