Job Description:
Location: Westbrook, Maine
We are looking for a Quality Training Compliance Specialist to join our Client’s team in our Westbrook, ME location. In this role, you will support our Infectious Disease Developed Markets business unit, ensuring compliance with the Quality System and administration of our Learning Management System (LMS). You will be responsible for maintaining LMS, generating training reports, managing training records, and ensuring our training programs meet quality standards and regulatory expectations.
Responsibilities:
– Administer and manage the Learning Management System (LMS) for the Quality System Training Program, ensuring proper training for all employees.
– Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) on the learning process and LMS to various departments.
– Effectively communicate and promote learning activities across departments.
– Collaborate with managers and team leaders to improve learning processes and systems.
– Build and maintain proactive relationships with internal and external customers, addressing needs and escalating issues.
– Author and review learning documentation and materials.
– Support audit readiness by preparing the Learning System and processes for successful audits and inspections.
– Ensure training programs meet all quality standards and compliance regulations.
– Coordinate training resources (presenters, course materials, spaces, etc.) for cGMP training requirements.
– Maintain administrative procedures to ensure compliance with business processes and regulatory expectations.
– Review and revise training curricula as needed.
– Assist in developing training materials and managing a “train the trainer” program.
Desired Background/Skills:
Basic Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Education, Science, Engineering, Human Resources, Business, Instructional Design, or related field) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
– 2-5 years of experience in the medical device or regulated industry (preferred).
– Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Familiarity with federal and other regulations (e.g., QSRs, ISO 13485, CMDR, IVDD/IVDR).
– Knowledge of adult learning principles and delivery techniques is a plus.
– Strong organizational, strategic thinking, and time management skills.
– Experience in preparing and delivering presentations.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
– Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
– Knowledge of training requirements from regulatory agencies (documentation, effectiveness, etc.).
– Ability to interact effectively with regulatory agencies.
Other Information:
Pay Rate: $25-$30 DOE
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
