Summary:
The Quality Auditor is responsible to accomplish Quality Assurance objectives by performing process and product audits as per Quality Control and FSA Plans. In addition, this position reports and documents key metric results and complies with conformance testing audit requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following but not limited to:
Ensures that assembled product meets control plan requirements.Reports all issues found during in-process Quality AuditsAudits packaged tools and/or in-house made components in compliance with Finish Stock Audit (FSA) inspection plan both in frequency and checklist. Records and keeps track of First Time Pass (FTP) metric. Daily Collect data and enter it on the database. Drives First Time Pass (FTP) metric by participating in meetings with Quality, Assembly, Manufacturing Engineering and Resident Engineering teams to solve problems promptly and implement sustainable solutions.Works closely with Tester Technicians to resolve tester issues.Standardization of Quality Control documentation & recordkeepingActively support Kaizen (Continuous Improvement) activities and PFMEA on assembly linesOperates basic measurement equipment.Complies with 5S requirements, maintaining a clean and organized work area. Performs all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.Ensure the use of ESD personal protective equipment.Other duties may be assigned to meet the business needs.
Additional Skills and Experience:
More than 1 year of hands-on experience in manufacturing environment.Basic knowledge of measurement equipment (calipers, micrometers, height gages, etc.). Proven experience is a plus.A Basic understanding of Geometric Dimension and Tolerance (GD&T) and Statistical Process Control (SPC)Must be self-motivated and work well in a fast-paced environment.Ability to read, understand and follow written and verbal instructions.Must be computer literate – Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel and WordBasic Knowledge in SAP and Windchill software preferredBilingual (English/Spanish) preferredExcellent verbal/written communication skillsBasic knowledge of ISO 9001Ability to anticipate and resolve problemsMust be willing to work from 10:00 pm to 6:00am and overtime as required.We Don’t Just Build The World, We Build Innovative Technology Too.
