The BAE Systems site in Aiken, South Carolina, supporting Combat Mission Systems is seeking a Quality Auditor (Dimensional Inspector). In this role as the Quality Auditor, you will support on the 3rd Shift. Included duities: + Inspect machined and/or welded parts to blueprint requirements for shipment to customer base; + Provide auditing support to shop floor operations; + Be able to support on the 3rd Shift, Monday-Friday, 10:30 pm - 7:00 am. **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** + Typically requires high school diploma or the equivalent. + Must have experience with and/or knowledge of basic inspection tools including scales, calipers, micrometers, height gages, etc. + Able to read, comprehend, and work to blueprints. + Must be able to support the 3rd Shift (Monday-Friday, 10:30 pm to 7:00 am). + Typical experience and education requirements are a High School Diploma or the equivalent, and 1 year related work experience. **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** + Coordinate measurement machine experience a plus. + Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) knowledge and experience beneficial. + Weld inspection knowledge/experience is helpful. + Faro Arm/Laser Tracker experience is a bonus. + Keyence experience is a bonus. **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $42436 - $67898 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
