As a Quality Auditor, you have holistic ownership of the development of Supply Chain Partners (suppliers) capability development in terms of product quality, aligned with H&M Production strategy that leads to delivering customer centric product through quality systems and methods.You have a great understanding of individual customer expectations, which you translate to our suppliers and support creating their quality capabilities. You drive the implementation of quality requirements, methods and routines with suppliers and production units to be able to ensure strong and consistent understanding, along with capability to meet the quality specifications and standards.
You focus on consistent product quality from development to production, collaborate with internal stakeholders across different functions and strengthening Involvement of business team on quality findings and decision together.
You work on supplier management to secure proficient quality organization, connect suppliers’ quality management team with H&M Production quality strategy/direction, enhance suppliers’ people management and accountability.
You work on meaningful execution of quality system & routine, continuously work towards efficient processes such as root cause analysis, corrective action plans, and drive supplier ownership in all areas to secure supplier stable quality performance.
You visit supplier regularly and conduct quality inspections to identify problems or potential problems together with suppliers to be able to increase the capability level, coach supplier quality team to find solutions to problems to secure bulk production and within timeline to secure time of delivery, ensure that all company requirements are being followed in production and the order is produced according to the approved counter sample.
You maintain close co-operation with suppliers and have a good knowledge of suppliers’ production setup, e.g., production process, machinery, employees’ skills. Follow up the actions which are taken together with suppliers to be able to secure the H&M’s customer perceived quality.
You drive projects and activities with quality end to end in mind, develop manufacturing guidelines, standard operated system, to bring efficiency and speed to enable business growth.QualificationsAs a Quality Auditor, you deliver on the areas you have ownership for by living our values every day and primarily through collaboration and teamwork.
You build strong trust with our suppliers and within internal stakeholders. You guide and direct business teams in terms of different technical options on how to improve our products.
You have proactive and solution-oriented approach to manage current and future problems. You have an approach to develop others all the time in terms of quality problems. You educate and support suppliers with the aim of improving quality.
You are a strong communicator and give clear directions to the suppliers in terms of quality of the product. You have the skill for adapting your communication level according to different personalities.
You channel your entrepreneurial spirit with your innovative and ‘out of the box’ thinking, to come up with fresh solutions and improvements.
