The Quality Auditor needs to be able to multi-task and complete all job functions within their scheduled shift. Should have basic computer skills, a positive attitude with good communication skills and needs to be very observant of things around them. Major Duties and Responsibilities

Follow all plant policies and procedures including Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Documentation Practices and Safety Rules. Possess a well-rounded knowledge of the quality of all products; must be able to identify and isolate any quality or food safety concerns. Communicate within department and with Production/Warehouse/Maintenance regarding any problems or issues that need to be addressed as required. Responsible for ensuring that First Piece Inspections (FPI) are done in a timely manner. Able to operate the Spectrophotometer, Micro Vu, and Comparator machines for testing on all applicable finished products. Must be able to use and read measurement devices such as gram scale, dial indicator, micrometer and/or calipers. Must be able to perform checks on measurement devices to ensure accuracy prior to use. Must be able to perform minor troubleshooting as needed. Thoroughly and accurately complete all required paperwork and documentation. Be an active participant in company monthly safety committee meetings. Perform weekly or monthly inspections as assigned. Housekeeping – keep work area clean and organized. Mandatory coverage for vacation of off shift personnel Complete any job duty given within reason, assigned by the Quality Manager. Minor Duties and Responsibilities
