Other relevant duties include calibration checks; assisting with work instructions and procedures; assist in the design, execution, data gathering & analysis of product trials and experiments, Maintain 5S in the QC lab. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES: + Regular attendance and punctuality required + Develop & follow detailed protocols for a variety of product and device testing procedures - mechanical, electrical, durability tests / methodologies + Develop, manage, and maintain data and product retention strategies for Lititz, building to Woodstream as a whole. + Assist in maintaining the QC laboratory including updating lab protocols/SOPs; adherence to good laboratory practices; and product quality control + Assisting in the testing evaluation of new and existing products + Creativity, having a broad understanding of manufacturing processes (batching, filling, quality assurance), and a results-oriented mindset are required skills + Drive for excellence and a commitment to meet deadlines is also key to success in this position  + Ensure products meet important functional and performance attributes, and have thresholds which are realistic and incorporate manufacturing limitations and capabilities are paramount to the position + Preparing prototypes, test fixtures + Ensure timely and appropriate QC and Lititz production support + Attend/present at various internal meetings to discuss test results and data + Working knowledge in use lab equipment + Performs other duties as assigned + Works with some hazardous materials, requiring specialized PPE including respiratory protection.
