Description
OVERVIEW
Cadrex is searching for a Quality Clerk who will play a vital role in our quality management process, assisting with the maintenance of quality records, documentation, and data analysis. Your attention to detail, adherence to quality standards, and ability to accurately document information will contribute to the overall quality of our products and the satisfaction of our customers. By working closely with the Quality Assurance team, you will help ensure that our manufacturing processes meet the highest standards of quality.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Maintain and update quality records and documentation, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and corrective action reports
+ Perform data entry and data analysis tasks, generating reports and summaries to support quality improvement initiatives
+ Assist in conducting internal audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations
+ Support the implementation and maintenance of the quality management system, following established procedures and processes
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain, to address quality-related issues and implement corrective actions
+ Assist in the investigation and resolution of non-conformance and customer complaint cases, ensuring timely and effective responses
+ Participate in quality meetings and contribute to discussions on process improvement, risk mitigation, and quality initiatives
+ Support the calibration and maintenance of measurement equipment and tools, ensuring accurate and reliable measurements
+ Assist in training employees on quality processes, procedures, and documentation requirements
+ Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
+ Previous experience in a quality control or quality assurance role within a manufacturing environment is preferred
+ Familiarity with quality management systems, such as ISO 9001 to AS9100, and understanding of quality control principles
+ Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document information
+ Proficiency in data entry and basic data analysis using spreadsheets or quality management software
+ Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
+ Effective communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and supervisors
+ Familiarity with measurement equipment and tools is desirable
+ Strong problem-solving skills to assist in investigations and implement corrective actions
+ Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment and following established safety protocols
EDUCATION
+ High school diploma
+ Additional training or education in quality assurance or related field a plus

WORK ENVIRONMENT
+ While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to the risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and occasionally loud.

+ While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
