Quality Compliance Specialist Responsibilities

Work with Quality and Compliance Program Manager and Leadership Team members to produce and report statistical data that focuses on agency wide quality and performance outcomes.   Perform program compliance monitoring visits and documentation to report findings to program leadership.   Establish a process of quality review and initiate actions to maintain and/or improve quality of service. Implement plans to improve department/program and/or service quality and if necessary, assist with creating policies and procedures.Participate in the periodic review of departmental and/or program service operation and development. Assist with licensure application and renewal of all annual contracts with agencies. Coordinate and facilitate quality improvement, incident review, and consumer focus group meetings. Work with Program Managers to coordinate and ensure readiness for agency accreditation.Maintain and respond to inquiries submitted to the incident review and compliance ticketing systems. Quality Compliance Specialist Requirements

Bachelor’s degree is preferred however an Associate’s degree with equivalent experience in compliance, IT, data collection, and use of electronic management systems will be considered.Strong background in data collection, clinical chart reviews, and an understanding of regulatory functions within non-profit human service settings. Experience with infographic reporting tools is preferred. Demonstrated proficiencies in Microsoft Office and network technologies are essential as well as learning the department’s software products. Ability to relate positively to diverse people and skill levels.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Ability to handle confidential information along with maintaining positive relationships with other staff. The position also must demonstrate the ability to communicate well with internal and external stakeholders and all levels of staff. High degree of organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities to prioritize multiple functions and tasks.Remain well-informed with County, State, and Federal policies and procedures.Other duties as assigned.
