We have a great opportunity for a Compliance Specialist to join our growing company!

 

The Compliance Specialist Supports the development and implementation of school compliance programs, policies, reporting, and practices for an organization or business. Monitors activities impacted by licensing/regulatory requirements related to the organization's governance and any Early Childhood Education-specific or location-specific laws.

 

This position can be located in GA, FL, or AL.

Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent1-3 years of related experienceDemonstrated knowledge of Early Childhood Education licensing practices/regulationsSolid written and verbal communication skills Ability to build strong, trusting relationships across the organizationExperience working in high volume, fast paced organization with employees across multiple states preferredHigh level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential informationAbility to prioritize, work independently and manage time accordingly

Responsibilities Partnering with DM and site admin to improve safety, quality, and licensing compliance dailyAssisting with new hire onboarding to ensure all staff are properly trainedDaily compliance checks of entire buildingDaily Classroom Observations and classroom staff coachingEnsuring staff and children's files are complete and up-to-dateUtilizes established internal controls and auditing systems to identify, detect, and correct noncompliance. Implements changes to compliance processes due to new or amended regulations. Prepares and updates communication materials. Assists with training initiatives that inform stakeholders about compliance requirements.
