Job Description
Monitor production operations to ensure conformance to company specificationsInspect products in all production stages to ensure that they meet quality standardsDirect assembly adjustments to ensure operations reflect quality standardsCreate tests for quality control of productsDisassemble product parts to inspect them individuallyEnsure products meet customer expectations based on company objectives Communicate the results of inspections and put forward corrective suggestionsDocument inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance recordsApprove incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting a visual and measurement test, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materialsApprove all finished products by confirming specifications and conducting required testsReturn products for re-work if needed and complete documentation to confirm re-workSort and segregate defective material for return, replacement, or disposal (scrap) as may be the case.Keep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and calling for repairs and/or calibration.Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production processes.Maintain a safe work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulationsPerforms other duties as assigned
Work Experience
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.Able to use and read a tape measure with speed and accuracyPossess basic high school math skills to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, measurementBasic computer skills, use of a mouse, typing and basic applications preferredAble to read and follow instructions on master design documents or drawingsMust be detail-oriented and work effectively under pressure while meeting all applicable deadlinesMust be able to work in a collaborative, team environment in alignment with company culture and valuesMust have the ability to understand and carry out instructions issuedStrong communication skills, including the ability to explain and teach methodologiesUnderstanding of manufacturing methods and procedures

Working as part of the production team you will maintain quality standards by inspecting incoming materials, in-process production, finished products; and recording the results. The incumbent must thrive in a fast-paced work environment, possess excellent communication skills and have keen attention to detail.
