Job Title: Quality Control AnalystJob Description The Quality Control Analyst will operate the materials management system, integrating receiving, quarantine, release, inventory, and disposal mechanisms. Responsibilities also include preparing mobile phases, samples, and standards for use in procedures, and ensuring the prevention of waste or loss of materials. Additionally, the role involves maintaining proper waste disposal handling and record keeping, participating in the execution and optimization of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for equipment and instrumentation per cGMPs, and correctly analyzing and interpreting the outcome of experiments. The analyst will prepare and assemble documentation such as entries into laboratory notebooks and maintain proper records per relevant SOPs and policies. This position requires collaboration with supporting management for assigned tasks, including technology transfer, and the ability to learn regulations, legal requirements, as well as policies and procedures relevant to the area of responsibility. Essential Skills + Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or Biology with a Chemistry Minor + 1-2 years of experience with UPLC/HPLC + Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) Additional Skills & Qualifications + Pharmaceutical/FDA exposure + Knowledge of cGMP + Experience with Empower software Work Environment The Quality Control Analyst will report to the designated supervisor and work primarily in a laboratory setting within a clean, state-of-the-art facility. The role also involves some time spent in an office environment. The majority of the work involves testing samples from compounding.
