**Job Title: Quality Control Specialist** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Quality Control Specialist to inspect products in our warehouse and complete detailed reporting. This role involves conducting quality audits and ensuring that products meet customer specifications and federal guidelines. Heavy lifting is involved in the role up to 50LBS consistently. Typical shift hours are from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday to Friday. **Responsibilities** + Conduct quality audits on inbound loads to create quality reporting and documentation for the Warehouse Managers and Sales Team. + Perform checks of outbound products to identify issues and communicate with the Sales Team. + Understand customer product specifications concerning quality and apply those specifications to products destined for customers. + Arrange and recommend audits for product inspections when inbound quality audits recognize defects that do not meet federal guidelines. + Conduct daily facility walks to identify aging products and other quality issues in stored products. + Participate in the put away planning process with the shipping/receiving team to plan cooler space for all commodities arriving at the facility. + Assist with coaching, teaching, and training warehouse employees on fresh produce quality and specification requirements. + Assist in month-end inventory counts as required. + Undertake other projects and responsibilities as they arise. **Essential Skills** + Experience with food in either a warehouse or retail environment. + Ability to lift 50lbs consistently. + Basic computer skills (training on internal ERP system will be provided). + 1 year of experience in a produce/food environment. + 1 year of experience in a wholesale/retail experience. + 1 year of experience in quality control (basic QC fundamentals). **Why Work Here?** We offer stable and long-term employment opportunities, including cross-training for all new hires.
