Description COMPANY IN FAIRLAWN, NJ Looking for a Quality Control Specialist

Location: Fairlwn, NJ

Shift: Monday- Friday

Time: 7:30am-6:00pm

Pay Rate: $22.12/hour

 

 

Job Summary:

 

 The Quality Control Specialist is responsible for ensuring the quality of bulk, finished goods, and components through sampling, performing testing on incoming components and bulk, and assisting with batch documentation and procedures. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to quality standards, collaboration with various departments to ensure product compliance

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

Collect, analyze, and approve samples of bulk and incoming components to ensure they meet quality standards Conduct  inspections on incoming components and bulk products to determine their conformity to specified criteria Assist in the preparation and review of batch documentation, ensuring accuracy Support the development and implementation of Quality Assurance/Control procedures and policies Identify and report non-conformances, ensuring investigations take place and corrective actions are implemented Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, quality reports, annual product reviews (APRs), etc. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the International Standards Organization (ISO) Perform daily floor monitoring of filling and packaging as well as in-process AQL sampling. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance Quality Assurance/Control processes Ability to communicate clearly and effectively Knowledge of MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint Ability to set objectives Ability to learn new processes quickly and efficiently Ability to identify, evaluate, and resolve issues effectively Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others Detail oriented and able to multi-task Ability to work in a team environment and independently Knowledge of ERP functions (preferred but not required) Knowledge of Monday Work Management functions (preferred but not required)
