Scope
Review and ticket approximately 100 air records per day.
Primary Responsibilities
75% - Produce and review the quality of tickets for the Travel Consultants’ and Transportation Agents' air records. Provide immediate feedback to the Travel Consultants and Transportation Agents via the queuing process.
25% - Consult with Managers and Quality Support Specialists about possible team and individual training needs. Provide quality feedback to management for evaluation purposes. Review each air program to determine air parameters and fares to establish routings for all levels of programs. Review the quality on all VIP records and produce the tickets when correct.
This job function requires or may require travel to destinations worldwide, in support of client site inspections and/or program operations. There is an inherent risk associated with all travel, often as a result of extraordinary circumstances. Therefore, during an emergency or period of high volume resulting from inclement weather, it is your duty to provide guidance and leadership as necessary under the circumstances, and to promote the safety of the client, travel participants and other Maritz employees by implementing or supporting prescribed crisis procedures. This can include additional work hours or deviation from standard work hours.
Qualifications
1. 2+ years of Sabre, back office systems and all levels of group negotiated air fares.
2. Minimum two years experience in travel industry.
3. Air travel contract experience preferred.
