Quality Control Analyst
Job Title: Quality Control Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Control Analyst to join our team. This role involves operating the materials management system, preparing samples and standards, maintaining waste disposal records, and executing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for equipment per cGMPs. You will analyze and interpret experimental outcomes, document laboratory activities, and collaborate on technology transfer tasks. You will also perform routine analytical tests and support daily analysis and stability study activities.

ResponsibilitiesOperate the materials management system to manage receiving, quarantine, release, inventory, and disposal mechanisms.Prepare mobile phases, samples, and standards for procedures, ensuring minimal waste.Maintain proper waste disposal handling and record-keeping.Participate in the execution and optimization of SOPs for equipment and instrumentation per cGMPs.Analyze and interpret experimental outcomes accurately.Prepare and maintain documentation such as laboratory notebooks and records per SOPs and policies.Collaborate with management on technology transfer tasks.Learn and apply relevant regulations, legal requirements, policies, and procedures.Ensure safe and compliant practices to manage risk and maximize project success.Become proficient with UPLC, Empower, and other analytical instruments and software packages.Perform routine analytical tests on excipients, APIs, finished products, compounded sterile preparations, and stability samples.Create and maintain clear and concise laboratory records and documentation.Execute lab analysis and related documentation in a timely manner.Support daily analysis and stability study activities with significant supervision.Essential SkillsBachelor's Degree in Chemistry or Biology with a Chemistry Minor.0-3 years of experience with UPLC/HPLC.Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).Additional Skills & QualificationsPharmaceutical/FDA exposure.Experience with cGMP.Experience with Empower.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00
