QC Chemistry is responsible for testing intermediate, finished product, and stability samples in support of Framingham Manufacturing. Our state-of-the-art Integrated Continuous Biomanufacturing (ICB) Facility leads the way in delivering the next generation of biologics manufacturing.
The Quality Control Analyst 1 is responsible for testing in-process, stability, and final product samples in accordance with SOPs for product release.

Main Responsibilities:
Participate in writing and revising SOP’s.
Ensure lab areas are clean, safe and properly stocked.
Effectively demonstrate an understanding of cGMPs and application to specific responsibilities.
Work compliantly & independently under supervision and direction.
Follow accurate written procedures for testing of in-process and final product samples.
Practice safe work habits and adhere to Genzyme’s safety procedures and guidelines.
Perform maintenance on basic laboratory equipment.
About You
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
One of the following:
High School Diploma and 1 year of laboratory experience
Bachelor’s Degree with 0-2 years of laboratory experience
Proficient with Microsoft Office tools such as: Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1 Year Experience in GMP lab environment.
Experience with lab-based data management systems such as iLIMS or BioLIMS
SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
Ability to lift 10 lbs.
