As a Quality Control and Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting all analyses for raw materials (RMs) and finished products (FPs). You will work closely with the shop floor team and serve as the first point of contact to provide support to production during the shift, addressing any quality-related questions or concerns.

Your key responsibilities

 

Perform sampling of raw materials in various presentations (powder and liquid).Conduct and release all quality analyses according to specifications for raw materials (RMs) and finished products (FP).Verify labels and review production shop floor documentation during the shift.Oversee the internal QC lab and manage all tests performed with external suppliers (e.g., microbiological testing).Manage the equipment calibration program, ensuring regular verification and compliance.Control and monitor the detergents (chemicals) used for cleaning in production, as well as other substances involved in the process.Verify the cleanliness of production lines post-cleaning.Provide support to the R&D team with various analyses.Conduct shelf-life studies and extensions monthly.Perform quality analyses including pH, humidity, texture profile analysis (TPA), water retention, granulometry, viscosity, and color (using a spectrophotometer).For new products, responsible for implementing new tests, equipment, or techniques as needed.Develops, implements, and monitors quality processes and procedures to ensure that products or services meet the required standards.Manages and resolves non-conformities with customers and suppliers, ensuring compliance with agreed requirements.Collaborates with production and product development teams to ensure that quality standards are maintained throughout the entire process.

 

You Bring

 

Bachelor’s degree in food science, Food Chemistry, Quality Food Biology (QFB), or a related field.Experience in a Quality Control laboratory, preferably within the food ingredients industry.Proven experience in quality control laboratory analysis, including a strong understanding of relevant principles and techniques.Proven experience in Quality Assurance, including managing and improving quality systems, performing audits, handling non-conformities, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.Advanced in English is a plus.Proactive with a strong sense of initiative.Growth mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and development.
