Quality Control Area Manager
Amentum is excited to offer a **Quality Control Area Manager** position within our Intelligence and Cyber group. This is full time position managing a contract’s quality assurance program. As a member of the program management team, the selected candidate will be called upon to work with corporate, client, and staff personnel to meet a rewarding customer mission. The **Quality Control Area Manager** will work a flexible schedule providing coverage to ensure oversight throughout shift operations 5am to 4pm and availability for occasional evening, weekend or on-call hours. **Responsibilities:** + Conduct Quality Control (QC) checks, enforce PPE, and safety standards across entire program + Will lead by example and enforce compliance with customer and company work standards, policies and procedures + Will act as the on-site managerial authority responsible for making real time performance and operational decisions + Establishes effective relationships and communications, both internally and externally, with persons of all backgrounds and organizational levels + Accepts responsibility for his/her own performance and demonstrates the capability to assist other team members in reaching success within the organization + Contributes to building a positive team environment + Mentors, coaches and trains new members of the team to meet or exceed program standards + Tracks timesheets, facilitates clock in/out of employees and monitors attendance of assigned personnel + Prepares accurate, detailed, and timely reports + Enforces workplace security policies, procedures, and uniform standards + Executes guard mount briefings with clarity and command of the subject matter + Possesses and demonstrates a positive approach toward achieving outstanding customer satisfaction + Constantly seeks ways to improve and promote quality with existing and/or future innovations + Displays ability and willingness to make decisions and offer guidance in real time + Exhibits sound and accurate judgment + Focuses on resolving conflict, providing performance feedback, recommending and executing corrective action + Maintains confidentiality and protects PII information per company standards **Work Environment and Physical Demands:** The work environment encompasses a variety of locations and conditions, including office settings and construction sites. The employee may be required to operate in environments where there is noise, dust, and dirt. Exposure to adverse weather conditions, such as heat, cold, and wind, is also possible. Physical demands of the job include prolonged standing, extensive walking within facilities, and the use of ladders and stairs. Employees must possess the capability to safely traverse uneven surfaces and navigate active construction sites, which may contain debris and other potential trip hazards. Furthermore, employees are expected to make logical, mentally competent, and safe decisions while operating within a construction site environment. The role necessitates the ability to lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds or 10 kilograms. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory and may include steel toe safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hard hats, and other relevant safety gear, depending on the specific tasks and conditions. **Requirements:** + **Must have an Active Top Secret US Government Clearance with polygraph. Note: US Citizenship is** ** required to maintain a Top-Secret Clearance with polygraph** + Must possess High School diploma or equivalent + Ability to walk and stand for a minimum of 8 hours per day, for prolonged periods of two or more hours at a time + Possess the visual acuity to observe the activities of other individuals from a moderate distance + Must successfully complete DCJS training within 90 days of hire + Must possess excellent customer service skills + Must possess excellent oral and written communications skills. + Must have scheduling experience, or other demonstrated experience coordinating employee resources to meet customer coverage requirements + Must be comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and web-based tools + Must have at least six-months of supervisory experience **Preferred Experience:** + Experience managing off-site locations + Three years of physical security experience Amentum is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
