Quality Control Associate

Description

Support the release of bacterial plasmids, critical reagents, and bacterial plasmids

Work in the lab with ddPCR, UVVIS, JESS analysis to help with stability studies

Perform cell culture, in vitro potency, western blot, protein extraction and protein qualification

Prepare, qualify, and release standards for in vitro potency methods

Review analytical QC data

Assist in writing and reviewing quality documents for SOP, OOS, OOt, Capa, and change control

Additional Skills & Qualifications

•\tB.S. degree in molecular biology, cell biology or virology with 3-5 years relevant experience.

•\tA strong understanding of operating and method development using Jess/ Capillary electrophoresis western blotting.

•\tWorking experience in a cGMP environment is required.

•\tA strong understanding of cell culture methods, polymerase chain reaction (PCR,) agarose gel electrophoresis, SDS-PAGE electrophoresis, ELISA, and spectrophotometric assays is necessary

•\tA familiarity with compendial (USP, ICH, EP) guidance is highly desired.

•\tHands on experience running protein-based immunoassays and/or qPCR/ ddPCR assays.

•\tExperience in developing, validating, optimization and deploying cell and molecular biology test methods

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
